Camping & Touring Re-Opens on 28th March

Sunny Lyn Holiday Park is  situated in a beautiful wooded valley in Exmoor National Park with the West Lyn River running alongside. Our Park is the closest campsite to both Lynton & Lynmouth.  Lynton is a quaint Victorian town with stunning views across the Bristol Channel, Lynmouth Harbour & the beach.  Lynmouth is stunning too and can be reached from Lynton via the funicular Victorian Cliff Railway or a short walk downhill.

Sunny Lyn offers a variety of accommodation options from log cabins, apartments, static caravans, touring & camping.  The campsite is so special with a friendly exclusive atmosphere as we only have 9 electric touring pitches,  5 electric tent pitches & 5 non electric tent pitches.  The shower & toilet facilites are newly refurbished to a very high standard with an onsite wash up area and laundry room.  The onsite breakfast cafe is open every weekend from Easter to the end of August and daily during the peak school holidays.

Dogs are welcome on both the Campsite and in our self catering lodges & caravans.

Lynton & Lynmouth have a fantastic selection of restaurants, pubs, cafes & shops.  There are enough places to eat out somewhere different every day of your stay.   Right next door to the Holiday Park is the fantastic family run pub & restaurant, Cottage Inn pub & Nartnapa Thai Restaurant.  Please check their website for opening hours and to view their delicious traditional Thai menu.

Our location is a walkers paradise with The South West Coast Path, Tarka Trail and Coleridge Way all converging in the Towns.  Lynton & Lynmouth are known for their stunning walks whether it be Exmoor, wooded, river or coastal walks you're after. Julia Bradbury featured two of our local walks in her ITV programme Britains Best Walks (Watersmeet walk & Valley of Rocks Walk). Both these walks can start from the Park & taking between 2-3 hours to complete.

Whilst here you must ride the funicular Victorian Cliff Railway, visit Glen Lyn Gorge & have a cream tea at the National Trust Watersmeet Tea Rooms. Lynton, Lynmouth and the surrounding areas have so much to offer & loads of areas to explore. Just a few ideas for days out are  kayaking, surfing, coasteering, fishing, a boat trip to Lundy Ireland, cycling the family friendly Tarka Trail, Arlington Court, Dunster Castle, visiting the glorious golden sands of Woolacombe, Croyde & Saunton Sands beaches, the picturesque coves all along the North Devon shoreline (Heddons Mouth, Woody Bay, Lee Bay, Combe Martin), Exmoor Zoo, Theme Parks (Big Sheep, Milky Way), Dinosaur Park, North Devon Wake Park with its inflatable assault course, wakeboarding & Ringo sessions, Dartington Glass to watch their glass blowing skills, Ilfracombe Harbour & visit Damian Hurst's sculpture Verity, RHS Rosemoor & Quince Honey Farm to name just a few of the recommended day trips.

To get a better feel for the area, vloggers CJ & Cory recently visited & made an amazing video.  Click here to view.

It really will be such a special holiday. We can't wait to welcome you to Sunny Lyn!
